DD is feeling better. the swelling is slowly subsiding. she's still occasionally tearful from an overdose of hormones and fatigue, but that's getting better too.

@SleeplessinSD, so happy to hear that your DD is moving through the process of healing. I'm sure you have some rest to catch up on.

@viva923, this is our current situation.

@JustJazzmom, that recipe does look good. if I ever cook again I may have to try it

On that recipe I wrote here: do not microwave it as it separates the mayonnaise & oil & no amount of whisking it helped. So only make enough for the meal each time. Found that out last night when I heated the dipping sauce in the microwave. 

We have rain moving in again for overnight. Hopefully it's forecast to not be the deluge it was a few days ago.

not much today

weather is major issue today. another massive storm system is near. major flooding is happen all around the state. combo of winds,tides,rain,all coming together causing many problems thru out the state.

the major storm system is just west of us, see how the system progresses as the day moves along.

don't do halloween give out candy any longer, we just turn out the lights and watch t.v. 

been a mix of sun and showery weather today. did hang out but got cut off at the pass, had to dry all in the dryer;. had showers off/on all day long.

last night on my nightly walk in the cull de sac, i came upon a SKUNK. what an eye opener. i beat feet for home quickly and quietly.

did chores this morn, did walk

clothes on line, a very forceful wind today.
