Good Morning!--We didn't do much yesterday except take our usual morning walk and then DH watched college football while I cleaned the bathroom and did some laundry. Today, we need to go get a new set of king sheets, the ones on our bed litteraly are in tatters and the new ones we bought are in a box somewhere. I didn't notice the sheets were in such bad shape until I went to wash them, they won't make it in the washer. We'll go out and check out the house, again! We do that a lot! They were working on the finishing touches the other day. It's a really nice day today, low humidity, really enjoyed our walk. I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend!

SISD--We're scheduled to do our walkthrough on Tuesday morning, then on Wednesday morning we have to meet the landscaper so he can show us how to use the sprinkler system, then on Friday we take possession of the house! We're . excited!
Justjazzmom--Gee, I can't believe they did that to your peonies! I bet they were beautiful and I wouldn't donate them again either. Did you replant them or give them away?
Viva--Yes, I read something about Abby & Gibbs on NCIS not getting long in real life. Well, acting is their job and they get paid a ton of money, so I really don't feel bad about it. I think most of us have had to work with people we didn't like or get along with.
Mochahoney--I'm glad someone is coming to look into the leak, what a mess that can make! I'm sorry you're having so much pain in your knee.

Good afternoon!
@Hayfield At this time of year, peonies are starting to go dormant so there may be ratty looking leaves or no leaves. Fall is the best time for planting them so they get used to their new home. I left them there so maybe Extension will bring them inside to sell to any who come in visit. I don’t know, it’s their problem now! LOL
The house will soon be yours hurray! Still waiting on our certificate of completion. Found out we need a permit for the 6’ partial fence along back of property! Would have been nice if fence company 10 years ago told us we were responsible for this. Anyway, attorney is filing that so we can get our CC.
Quiet AM here reading news & catching up on things here.
Tomorrow I go with contractor to Lowe’s or Home Depot to look at hooks to hold extension ladder & snow shovels. He will install them. Will also determine which color shutters to order too.
Have a great Sunday.

Yes, the Linea sequin pants are the ”it” pants of the season, I guess! 😆
This pant could be a new “keeper.”
I had an outfit that was my “do-all” outfit for years.
It was by Carole Little for St. Tropez all black in a jacquard silky fabric. The top had an Asian type collar; the full pants had an elastic-smocked waistband and pockets; and the jacket was substantial, short, and had beautiful under-stated buttons.
At the time I purchased these, I was caught between feelings of “DH is going to kill me” vs “I gotta grab these QUICK.” lol
The outfit never went out of style and I ALWAYS had just the right thing to wear...until I just wore this set out!

@JustJazzmom, @MariotaMurielle, lol, great picture! It will actually be 9 PM not midnight out here. I’m 5’ 4”, so I’m wondering if I need to order petite. At 32” regular, I’d probably need to alter.🤔 @MariotaMurielle, yikes, another two weeks before your appt. Hopefully, it goes by fast. Take care!
@LTT1, I remember Carole Little back when I was working. Her clothes were upscale and so nice. I bet your “do all” outfit was beautiful!
@viva923, good luck tomorrow with DSIL. I hope they can find some treatment or plan that helps/works for him. I’ll be thinking of you and your family. Please let us know.
@Hayfield, After lots of planning and struggles, you’ll finally be in your new house soon. I’m so happy for you. It is exciting! It’s so funny you mentioned new sheets. We had to buy new ones too. Seems like the ones we had just all of a sudden started fraying. We found some at Target. We’ll see how long they last!
Waving Hi to Katte, Snardy, RetRN. Catwhisperer and all our friends! I hope everyone had a great day!😊❤️

@SleeplessinSD Definitely get the petite. I’m 5’2” & get petite inseam all the time.
The super ponte pants in the port & deep forest green had to be shortened to 28” for me as 29” was dragging the ground.
Going out this AM with contractor to get hooks for garage to hang a few things like shovels & ladder.
