HiLo, you can't imagine how happy I am to see your post! I miss the KS ladies terribly. Did DeLaney get married?

It seems that everything in our nation is upside down. One day at a time. I'm usually really intersted in watching news, but am trying to avoid as much as possible. Just upsets me.

The Lord knows and has His plan which nothing and nobody can thwart. No matter how it seems to us.

Yes, couples meet in so many ways. My heart aches for DD#2 who is the only one with nobody to love her in that special way. My oldest GS has been married for 7 years, and the other 2 are both engaged now. GS#2 and his fiancee plan on marrying in November 2016 at a ghost town, 100 miles from here. He said I'm going to be there if he has to carry me or tie me to the top of the truck like the Beverly Hillbillies granny. LOL. He is the one with the terrible dental problems. And no insurance. He is a day laborer and has no regular income. Can't afford insurance of any kind. I thought Obamacare was for people like him and his fiancee. So far they can't get it for whatever reason. DD told me that a friend of hers is getting extensive work done for free at USC dental school. I'm going to tell him. It would mean many trips out there, but free is good. He is terrified of dentists and where he is going now is a place that caters to the fearful. I could take the money out of savings so he could get it all done, but know that's not wise. He will never have enough money no matter how much he is given. His fiancee has epilepsy and desperately needs to be under the care of the neurologist.

Am grateful your DD has high standards and a good marriage. And that she is there for you. My DS would come if I needed him, but it's the girls that are in constant contact. So they know what's going on. I'm seeing my doc next week. The tingling I've had in my legs and feet for many years is much more pronounced and covers most of my body. I'm weak and can't walk far or stand for long. My legs shake and it's hard to keep my balance. I get short of breath very easily and that's much worse. No pain. I'm sure I'll be sent to some distant specialist and have some test or another, but what can I do besides that? Trust the Lord.

DD#1 did sell her unit and today the Salvation Army is taking away much of her furniture. She and her hubby will be moving by Oct 1 at the latest. They bought another unit there in LW. Two bedrooms, 1 and a half bath, washer dryer. New paint and carpeting. Upgraded kitchen, skylight. Pretty front door, lots of potential, so they will buy some new furniture together that fits the smaller space better. It's 1,000 sq,ft.

If you are in touch with the KS ladies, please give them my love. They come to mind often and I ask the Lord to help them with whatever they need.

possummink, glad you got some rain. It's 90 here today going up to the triple didgets over the weekend. Maybe some rain next week, but too early to know. Glad you are starting your packing and shipping routine. By now you must have that down pat. I know you go back to FL during the winter, right? Do you see yourself moving their full time?

Hope you get the oil filter and can sell the house there in MO. Sorry for the Ferguson unrest and other things that make it less desirable right now. Maybe things will settle down. My GS and his fiancee really need insurance. They are the people Obamacare is supposed to help, but so far, nothing. I could take all the money he needs out and pay for his dental work, but I have it there from the sale of the house for my future medical needs. I gave him money and urged him to save some, but it's gone. Maybe his folks can help.
