Hi possummink, it is scary how fast time flies. I know we think more about that as we age. I used to be the youngest person, now it's hard to find anyone older than I am who is still up and around. Glad you have brothers who help with the "man" stuff. The mostly do have more upper body strength.

Sorry your daughter has Crohns disease. I've heard of it, but don't know much about it.

Glad she could take a few days off. My father left us when I was 7 and my sister almost 1. We had to move in with my grandparents. Fortunately, it was right when Pearl Harbor was bombed and the men went off to war so there were jobs for women. She was a Rosie the Riverter helping to crank out the planes to get to our men fighting the enemies.

I'm sure it was hard for her, it was hard for me too.

i'm glad your DD has you for a mother.

School districts don't all have the same schedule. The one where DD works will be open until the 16th. She's glad for a long weekend. The kids around here get out sooner, but they return earlier in the fall also. It's the same number of days per year.

I also hope you have a happy Memorial Day. Grateful for those who fought and died for our freedom.
