Hi 10grands, glad you and your hubby were treated kindly. It really makes a difference.

Sorry you needed that kind of care, but glad it seems to have worked out well for you, at least I hope so.

I appreciate your concern. I'm seeing my PC doc in a little while and can ask him some of the questions I have regarding how they treat nose cancer as opposed to what my hubby had done.

possummink, I tinker with soups and stews also. Well, I did when I cooked. Thanks for the information about your method of making cherry and apple pie. I wrote it down so as not to forget.

The days and weeks fly by. Hope that's true when I start my treatments. We had a paper on the fridge and crossed off the days when hubby was having radiation.

Sorry for the humidity there, and hope you get rain. It's really nice here today, great breeze coming through the doors.

Take care everyone,

Dear BalletBabe, I'm glad you found your way here. These are wonderful women who understand, and our possummink shares such beautiful and often humorous picures with us. Were you and your hubby married a long time? It was almost 58 years for us.

Seems like a dream sometimes. We all know it's like yesterday or a hundred years ago.

I'm blessed to be able to live in the house we bought 30 years ago. I sold it 2 years ago to the DD who has never married and lives here. So we go on as before, but it's her place to keep up, etc. and when my time comes, she won't lose me and her home. I feel good about that. May you find peace this day,

Silkeej, yes, it's good to get the results to know what I'm dealing with and be able to proceed. Of course it's more waiting. Medicare is good to have, but slower than one can imagine. Still, I'm grateful to be covered. I'll let you all know when I hear anything new.

We don't know what to do about the remodel. We aren't going to leave workers alone here. I trust the contractor, but there are others in and out all the time.

It's wonderful that you have passed your cooking and baking skills on to your DGD. She will cherish those memories her whole life. Home made is the best, if done well as yours no doubt is! I'm getting hungry.

It's 85 here which is cool for this time of year, but I love it. Nice breeze coming in through the door near me.

Peace to you this day,
