I love this-so funny. You know those days when you really really do not want to go?!

One year, I was really feeling this way so I called in sick-shhh! I am very honest but what I needed was a mental health day a lot!

I will never forget how much it did for me-it was a few weeks before Christmas, and I loved being a part of all the normal people shopping, not having to go to a stressful place (our principal at the time was on a downward drug spiral-really and could be very mean).And if we ever were sick he made you feel so guilty and bad when you already did feel bad. Later our VP told us all to take all the sick days left because they weren't carried over into the next year. He did that and told us to-wow! I'd never heard of that. But he also resigned the next year. Anyway that's another story!

Anyway it was beautiful-all the decorations and music.Leisurely being able to get presents for my kids.

I will always be so glad that I took that day and also made me realize that sometimes you really need to think of yourself and what you need, not always trying trying to do what "must" be done.

So after my saga, the quote I thought of right away was

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"🎄

And I'm going to add-

"Oh we need a little Christmas! Need a little Christmas nowww!🥰
