Some of these gardens and arboretums have beautiful light displays at Christmas.  A few years ago my sister, I and two of her friends went to Longwood Gardens which is near West Chester and QVC.   There was snow on the ground and it was spectacular.

Every year I want to go to this but run out of time and that will happen this year, too. I also like to go on a warmer day. Doesn’t look like that will happen this year.  Maybe next year. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm hoping to get to the Lincoln Park Zoo for their lights.  Unfortunately, Morton is too far away without a car.

@scatcat  Maybe some days sell out. We've never had a problem. Order on line.  We've gone for 2 years.

  Last week Friday it rained too hard.  They honored our tickets this Friday.

Gorgeous! I would love to stroll through there some evening. It reminds me a bit of our local display at the botanical gardens. My kind of quiet, magical event! 

Those who put all of these displays together are hard-working and so creative. They deserve applause, as well as our support.
