  My mother is 90 and has macular degeneration in one eye and diabetes is trying to take out her other eye.   She occasionally has to have lasor treatments and she works hard at eating right for her diabetes.  Her eye doctor says that's why she still has her eyesight and he's pretty sure she will have it as long as she lives.   It is impressive how far they have come in the medical field on these eye problems.  I know it must be scary.  Praying for you.... continued good results.
