Paging @possummink for @halfpint1...
Possummink, I hope your relatives are safe and sound, if anywhere near the terrible flood zones in the Midwest. 🙏

@WaJa61 and @halfpint1
Hi WaJa and Renee, Thank you, I do have friends that live in Nebraska but no family. I also have friends in Florida who do have relatives and friends in Nebraska that are being affected by the awful flooding that's going on there. Their town and farm has been flooded, but they are safe.
I live a couple of miles from where the Missouri River and the Mississippi Rivers meet, the Confluence, but we are on high ground and are safe from the flooding that is expected. It'll affect the low lying land in between the two rivers and more farmland on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River.
Thank you so much for the good wishes and thoughts. Prayers for all of those who are suffering through these terrible floods and for their homes and critters. ![]()

@dex She only hears the noises in her house. They aren't like tinnitus at all. She has discussed this many times. The noises started when her husband died.

@possummink ~ thank you for checking in with us. It's good to hear that you, your family and friends remain safe through these epic floods. Sorry that some are suffering property damages and are displaced. So frightening and devastating to so many. Several states yet to be impacted, according to the latest news, as both the Mississippi and Missouri rivers are still rising. You're fortunate to live in an elevated region. I join you in continued prayers for all in the path of the rising waters.
Take care, God bless and have a nice, safe week and weekend ahead. 🌈

@halfpint1 ~ it sounds like your browser (Chrome) may have been hijacked by a computer virus, since the pages here roll or move, and it otherwise behaves strangely on its own. Example: redirects you elsewhere and changes the settings and formatting on your system all by itself.
Have you mistakenly clicked on a spam email, phishing (fake) site or ad lately? So easy to do, but that's usually how we pick up bugs. I would ask your son or someone you trust to run a full virus scan on your computer, if I were you.
Stay safe and take care! I'm so sorry the noise and anxiety are still troubling you. I'm praying your doctors can soon help you to alleviate both. 🙏

Thank you, WaJa61, I hope you have a beautiful Spring and stay safe and well. ![]()
It's really sad to see the devastation and heavy loss that our neighbors in close by states have to endure. I watched huge chunks and blocks of ice being moved by bulldozers and front loaders from homes and areas that I think are in the western part of Nebraska where so much snow fell. So much loss including livestock and I am assuming wild critters too. Hoping that calm Spring weather will settle in there so they can begin recovering and rebuilding. ![]()

😰 I have been watching much of the footage on the news, too, @possummink... but didn’t see the chunks of ice being removed yet. Natural forces are often so fierce ~ without mercy. I'm surprised and thankful there hasn’t been more human deaths reported. There is sure to be countless livestock and wildlife to have perished. Those big farms under water usually feed a big part of our world, too. I hope they get the assistance they will need to recover in time.
Thank you so much and a very blessed, healthy and happy spring season to you and yours! 💛
