I love malted milk balls too.   I've purchased them from Nuts.com. They were very tasty.

The price is $9.98 for a 1 lb bag.  The only drawback is their shipping charges are very high.  When I've purchased them I've also bought several other items so I had enough for free shipping.

Their nuts are excellent.  They are always very fresh.  I usually only purchase from them once a year as a special treat.  I don't know if they still offer this but at one time they offered free shipping on your first order only.

I also see that Amazon has malted milk balls but some of the reviews are not favorable.

Another vote for Nuts.com. They have great nuts, candy, etc. shipping is fast. P.S. I love malted milk balls too.

And another vote for Nuts.com.   Everything they sell is fresh, and they ship right away.

If you sign up for emails from them, you will receive free shipping at low amounts offers throughout the year.  I just recently got one for free shipping at $29.

Sprouts has all kinds of chocolates, including malt balls, in their bulk section.

I am jealous of all the stores mentioned on these forums...small town living offers very little in the way of interesting shopping.

Check out some upscale grocery stores in your area.  One near me has a huge section of bins with every nut and grain and they also have chocolate covered malt balls, raisins, pretzels, fruit slices.  It's in the front of the store and I always close my eyes and hurry past it.  Lol.  And I use the checkou t furthest away to avoid temptation.  Also check out some candy stores in your area.  But as a specialty item,  they won't be inexpensive.
