this is just heartbreaking.....

I am a new puppy owner, Chloe is 6 months old and I just can't imagine how anyone could do this.

I think you put yourself in jeopardy in doing what you did.  If people are mean and abusive to an animal, they may not be people you want to confront.

It is sad, but I think you need to ask yourself how much you may be putting yourself and your family in harm's way by harrassing these people--whether they deserve it or not.  Personally, I wouldn't risk that.

You all can flame me all you want, but my family's safety comes first.  Especially in the world we live in today.  

If it were a child, I would have reported them in private to the local depart. of human services.
