Hi Cute.......OMG, so glad that you were finally able to sign in.  I worry when we don't hear from you.  Glad that things are okay.  We had rain over the weekend, and yesterday morning, I had frost on the car.  Hey, this is March for goodness sakes.

BTW, when do we set our clocks ahead?  Take care.

Dearest Snappy.  I am so happy to hear the wonderful news about Shirley.  Will be keeping your family in my prayers.

Will DD#1 have her knee surgery soon?  Take care.

Hi MisLomo.....thanks for stopping by.  Glad that your DH is feeling better.  Our newest boutique owner, Camillle is moving to a bigger spot downstairs.  I popped in her store and she has a least 6 beautiful new necklaces, and she said that she ordered some clip-on earrings.  Uh oh, I am in trouble.

Did you watch the Academy Awards?  I watched most of it, but I don't find it very interesting any more.  I prefer the old Hollywood glamour.

See you soon.

Hello, dear ladies- happy over-the-hump Wednesday! Wanted to check in with you before I may lose internet (and cable tv) connections due to inclement weather. And okay, this time.. following that terrible bomb cyclone (what a name!) this Quinn will dump upward of a foot of snow on us. With yet another snow storm to follow him. So I just might complain! We'll all need some of Snappy's cleats, MsLomo. Or better yet..

That's not really Smoky, but he won’t be pleased either.

I guess the good news is, that because of the position of the sun, these March (and sometimes April) snowfalls can’t hang around long.

Thank you, Agnes, Anu, MsLomo, Issy and Snappy for seeing my silly photo through the eyes of friendship! Everyone here is so beautiful to me. Such gracious souls.

Snappy, I've been really bursting with joy for Shirley and so for you, too, dear! Jumping up and down in spirit and praising our merciful Lord. Now soon when your family gathers for Easter, you'll have all the more to celebrate! Your little GGD is covered in protective prayer. Hoping she is in your arms again very soon.

Hello, cute! I'm sorry you've had so much trouble signing in here. But I'm happy to know you're all fine and your weather is nice, too! Any news on your granddaughter-in-law and her new baby boy?

I'm thinking Selah must still be having trouble here, too, since she hasn’t posted at all for a long time, yet I see her on D and her emails come through fine. Can’t blame busy people for giving up here.

Rowan, many of the more creative ladies here enjoy the journaling Bibles, too. When I was at Joann's craft store recently, I saw the chalkboards- many framed and ready to hang. So cute and useful, too! They're also having a great sale on all the spring and Easter decorating items, for those here who enjoy sprucing up. I don’t have the space to display much, but I bought a pretty heart-shaped wreath for my door with a small cross draped in purple in the center. We ladies of the quilting club are finishing up one for our minister and his wife for an Easter token. They do so much to help the people of this community. I have to lead at Bible-study this evening and so naturally I have a frog in my throat. Never was comfortable reading or speaking before a group. Could have never taught a class as you do daily, so don't sell yourself short.

LOL, Joy.. I can’t imagine your DD being screechy or anything close to a drama-queen, though she is so full of fun! Will she and her hubby be going with you to Israel? I hope the heel spurs won’t make all the walking too painful for you. My friend, Liz was just complaining about hers down in the gift shop. I'll be praying for your group's safety and looking forward to hearing all about it.

Blessings to one and all! ❤️

Hi MsLomo...thank you, thank you! My sister is having her 5th treatment right now.

One more and then they will wait until July and do another scan to see if it's returned anywhere. We pray not. She's done so much better than I feared. Thanking the Lord.

How did your hubby do with his eye surgery? I hope I haven't mixed him up with someone else!! Sorry, if so.

Anu, thank you for praying for my sis. I fairly certain the baby didn't ask her parents to let her get a job! She is so darling, and calm and not afraid of people. She doesn't cling to her mom. I can see why she would be a desirable candidate for those agencies.

The Lord knows and all I can do is pray which as we know, is the most.

On Monday I saw the PA at the neurologist's office. Asked her about whether or not I should drive anymore. She couldn't really answer that but said I could take a class where they evaluate your abilitiy. It's $500 and not covered by insurance and they don't report their findings to the DMV. I have read through the new driver's manual and think I'll go and try. I may not be able to pass the eye exam. If not, I'll know it's time to end my driving years. It's okay.

I also had a chest x-ray to satisfy the cardiologist whom I saw this morning. She seemed satisfied with me, and I don't return for 3 months unless I need to. So yeah, unless something comes up, I don't see any more doctors the rest of this month.

You take care, and yes, your daughter will make up her own mind about what she feels led to do in life. It's an exciting time.

Hi, WaJa, happy to see you. I did see Billy's service and was transported back in time. The Gaithers, the choice of music. Loved to hear the authentic memories of his children.

Especially the part about how the Billy Graham we all saw, was the same as the Billy Graham at home. Integrity. My hubby was just like that. What you saw was consistent.

Today when DD#1 took my RX into the drug store she found a commemorative book of his life and got one for them and for us. Lots of pictures. It would be wonderful if the Lord would raise up another such person.

LOL! Screetch....yes, perfect name for that darling baby of ours. Happy to hear that your DD outgrew that phase. It's sort of frightening. She looks such sweet and darling and that awful sound comes out. They have some sort of bird that makes a similar sound and sometimes I wonder if she is mimicing him.

Tomorrow my friend is coming with my tax papers. All done. Have been studying for the driving test. If I pass the vision part, I think I'll pass the written part. If not, I'll know it's time to stop driving and it will be okay with me.

We are supposed to get some rain this weekend. Oh I hope so. Love the cool, overcast days. Perks me up.

Take care one and all,

Hi Rowan, thank your dear pastor and Winona for their rejoicing over my sister's good news. She had treatment number 5 of 6 today. One more and then they wait until they do a scan in July. I know she will be glad for some time without having to be poked and prodded.

Before Christmas, the Q sold Bibles such as you mentioned. I ordered one sent to my sister. The problem for me is that I need Giant print, and they were regular font size.

But for some people they would be quite nice.

I've kept journals for my grandkids since they were born and am doing the same with the babies. Already started one for my granddaughter's little girl on the way.

We found a date in April when we can get together for the spring birthdays.

Same place we went last year. It has a separate room with a round table so we could all hear each other. It was so nice. Rectangular ones mean 2 different conversations going on. All I really care about is that the baby will be there. Haven't seen her since Christmas. Way too long when they change so fast.

cute, so glad to hear from you. How is your grandson's wife? Keep thinking about her since 2 of my kids have thyroid cancer. Praying she is doing well. It's hard at first, but once they get you on a replacement therapy, it's okay.

Sounds like spring is on it's way to you. We are having some rain this weekend. We had it also a few days ago.

I hope the apricot tree flowers again this year.

Do you get to see much of the new baby? I hope so.

Thank you for your prayers for my sister. She is so strong.

MsLomo.....I was sure my mom wouldn't let me have those cleats, but she DID.

I loved them. Sorry you didn't have that experience, but the tap shoes will help.

Dear Issy, is it raining up your way? They said the storm heading our way is a warm, tropical one, but there will be snow in the Sierras. That's good news.

Thank you for asking about DD's surgery. She got confirmation today that it will be March 23rd. It's the kind where she can put her full weight on it right away.  They will send her home with crutches and a brace if she needs them. There will be some PT, but she should be able to walk pain free when they go to Russia in June.

I see another pretty necklace in your future.....hehe...

I appreciate your prayers for my sis and her family.

Hi Lurky, glad to see you today. Now I have a mental imagine of you. Beautiful! Glad you can be inside during the stormy weather. Sorry you may lose your internet.

One of my dearest friends used to live in a similar place to yours. She and most others had some sort of decoration on their doors, so walking down the hallway showed the personality of the residents if you took the time to take a good look.

Sweet of you to make something for your pastor.

Thank you for being thankful about my sister's good news.

I've prayed for you about tonight's Bible study. The Lord will use you for His glory. That we know.

This has been a stressful week for me, and tomorrow my friend is coming with my tax forms. She finished them. No more mailing like we did last year...never have been found.

I can hardly wait to have the baby in my arms.

She probably won't remember me, and I want to see her more often, but this is better than never. April 15 is when we will be having lunch together.

Stay warm and dry..
