Hi, MsLomo, good to see you. Glad you have some pals here with makeup info. Nice to read about your choices.

There were lots of lovely looking women at the wedding.

It is amazing to see the baby walking. Her birthday party is Saturday at a park. They are going to have hot dogs and burgers and side dishes and cupcakes.

We will go late so I can use my limited energy seeing her open her presents. She's so darling. And in a month, her little cousin will be born. Can hardly wait to hold both of them. Hope we can get a good pix sometime to use as a Christmas card to the few I still am in touch with in that way. Smiley Happy

My vision is still poor out of the good eye. The steroids are gone. I could see Dr. Eye Candy sooner if necessary.

DD#2 is worn out from all that stress over the animals.

DD  and her hubby are in London! Having a good time.

Visiting all the places we saw on the wedding day. Westminster Abbey today. Tomorrow Windsor Castle.

Hope the see the young couples....

Hi Selah, Norton warned me about this website and I had to exit, so this will be brief. Just wanted to say HI and let you know I appreciate your prayers.

Hello, dear ones ~ giving the thread a love bump for hump day! Enjoyed all the posts ~ I'd like one of each dress, but since I can’t wear the shoes right now... Just gimme Kitty's necklace and earrings, please! 😍 Maybe QVC will offer a knock-off that I can afford and won’t be afraid to lose.

I'd also love one of those Zero Gravity easy chairs, Selah! I hope they can work out in delivery in time for Father’s Day, since you can’t pick it up in the truck like the mattress. Lucky Luke ~ I'm sure he'll love it! I saw on TWC lots of flooding in your region, so I prayed for y'all and all local residents. Not too bad here yet ~ worse in and around Richmond. Told family and friends there to head for the hills (here) if need be.

My foot is still healing, friends. It itches, and I hope it's all in my mind, but I seem to feel my toenails growing by inches daily. Tomorrow will be the last day with the yucky antibiotic, unless the surgeon sees a reason to continue those. Pain hasn’t been too bad, but I'm tired of trying to sleep in the boot already and the crutches are exhausting. You don’t realize just how much more effort it takes to both get around with those... and find some place within reach to park them. Doesn’t help that I'm less than graceful anyway. Trying not to complain, and Yolanda keeps me laughing! She threatened this morning to wrap me in bubble wrap and duct tape the crutches to my arm pits!! 😂 Sounds reasonable at this point.

I have projects to keep me occupied now. My boss brought my work system over during the long weekend. I can at least now update his site, then I'm going to completely relaunch a new one for our church. It's tiny ~ just 5 pages. We need a couple more for activities schedules, photos, etc. I’m also working with the book's graphics editor by labeling and giving a brief description of all those photos I took in Israel.

😻 When do you get the new walk-in tub, Lurky? So excited for you and your lucky neighbors!!

Dear Snappy, I'm thinking of your DD and her DH in London taking high tea! What fun that must be. I'm sure they'll bring you and DD2 lots of nice gifts and tons of photos, too! I bet they will see the young royals out and about, too. They keep so busy in helpful ways.

Sorry the trapper only caught skunks! 🤢 No, not worth investing more into that. Will is constantly trapping ground hogs here, who love our crops. They also dig holes that create dangers for the horses and cows. He transports them to the park, where they are checked out for diseases before being released there. No cost, but a constant bother and they will bite.

Take care with that eye! I'm praying it will continue to clear up. As to this site; my devices warn me almost each time I sign in that it’s not secure. That's why I keep no info stored here. Complaining is an exercise in futility, so I don’t bother anymore. Just check in briefly with a few friends and sign back out.

Love to you, little Diva Baby and all here! 💜

Hello Hello-ers!

Hoping you feel better soon @WaJa61 You are so right, we don't realize how much we depend on every part of our bodies to comfortably function.

@snappyfrappyyou have a lot to look forward to with the two little ones. I so look forward to seeing Hal, I know how exciting it is to have babies in the family. Enjoy it- it goes by so fast, as you know!

@SelahGClarification on the book I read. It was not the fictional book The Terror by Dan Simmons. It was a book about the research missions and what we have learned from them. No one knows what happened, exactly, but it appears no one survived. Their sickness was due to lead poisoning from the tinned food (a new technology in that time). Very interesting. I finished watching the series yesterday. Very good!

Time to get ready for work. Happy Thursday to all who post. See you later!

Hi, friends! Just a quick check in, if my cell signal will hold. Yet another storm brewing here. Will be glad to see the sun again, and wow....our lawn really needs mowing!

I wanted to thank you each for being happy for my son, Jacob! I know it seems trivial to those who don't know him personally, and his emotional, behavioral and social struggles due to autism. I'm so relieved that he's making  progress through better therapies, hard work and a more peaceful environment. Very thankful!!! 🙏

Snappy, I sure am getting worried about your eye. 😟 I think I would call Dr. Eye Candy. He may want to refill those drops, or prescribe something else. Even though, we are rolling over into June now. Wishing your daughter and her husband safe and fun travels on their vacation! Maybe they'll send you a nice leather handbag from one of those shops! Have a good time at the party on Sat. I'm so happy the baby is walking!

Rowan, I see you checked in (hearts) and I hope your weather isn't too bad down there. That nothing prevents you and Chay from getting moved in this weekend. When does school end there for you?

Hi, @bathina! Thanks so much for giving me the US prices on the CT products! I went to Nordstrom and got the Magic Broad Spectrum foundation. Has SPF 15. Great, even coverage, but there at least limited shades were  available. Many more on their website. I got #3, which works well for me. I also picked up the Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blush and one matte lipstick: Pillow Talk shade from Revolution. It is both hydrating and lasting!

I looked at the Magic Cream, Selah and MsLomo. That was $100 for 1.7 oz! I just couldn't, but will look elsewhere for it. Tested a bit on the back on my hand. It penetrates almost immediately, and feels like silk!

Have a great evening, ladies! I will stop by and see how Joy's app't went on my way home from work. Got a surprise for her from the bakery. 😊

With love to all from Agnes ❤️

Happy June, WaJa, so nice to see you today. Say, toe nails do grow fast! Especially when it's either impossible or very hard to keep them trimmed. Mine dig into their neighbor toe and hurt, especially in the night.

Hope you get off that antibiotic and out of that boot soon.

Nice that you can keep up with your work from home.

Modern technology is a really good thing...mostly.

If you had a walker, you might find it easier to get around than with crutches. Or not.

I use mine almost all the time inside now. My doc wants me walking and likes me to use it. I feel secure, not afraid I'll step out of my shoes and fall and break something or other.

I can imagine you would have lots of wild critters around there. It's good that your hubby can take them away for free. I need to have the trapper come out to clean up the roof. DD has 2 more weeks of school after this one.

Tomorrow all the Ks are going to the big L.A. Zoo which is a long way from where we are. Exhausting. The other teachers are lots younger as are the parents. Many of them going. She has trouble walking, but won't be responsible for a small group. So, she may buy a diet Pepsi and sit under a tree. Works for me.

I think the vision in my good eye is a tad better today. I still enlarged the font size, but I can actually see it.

DD and her hubby are probably off to bed around now. They saw the "Mouse Trap" yesterday and did their laundry. Got packed. Their flight to Russia is at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon. Eight hours ahead of PT. I guess 5 hours ahead of your time.

They stood on the same step where Harry and Meghan kissed and got a pix doing the same...ah, young, or old love.

Be a good girl and get better soon.

Hi, bathina, it feels good to have you back. Now if cute would PHONE HOME, I'd be relieved. Glad she's posting elsewhere so we know she is okay.

I do know how fast babies grow. And it seems like Hal couldn't possibly be as old as he is, but I'm trying to enjoy the little ones. I don't see the baby as much as I'd like, but I'm grateful they aren't in some other state where I probably wouldn't see her at all. Glad the little girls will have each other. They could both be only children, but they would have one another.

agnessan, we do remember about Jacob and know that he is gaining so much because of your move and marriage. How precious is the Lord?

Thank you for being concerned about my vision. Me too. I do think it's a tad better today. I enlarged this font, but can read it without my glasses. Not exactly clear, but okay.

DD and her hubby are probably sleeping right now. As I told WaJa, they leave for Russia and the river cruise at 1:30 London time tomorrow afternoon. That's 2 weeks.

She misses everyone, and her dog, Maggie.

Have a pleasant weekend.

Hi Waja61........glad that your foot is healing and that you are doing okay.  I can just imagine how it is to try and get around using crutches!

Hi Bathina; so glad to see you, too.  I have seen advertisement for The Terror, but I don't know much about it.  I will check it out.  What wonderful things is Prince Harry doing now?  Take care, and come back to chat soon.

Hi Agnesann.  I am so happy that Jacob won second prize.  That is just amazing, and I am so pleased how he handled himself in that situation.  I do remember the background story, and he has made some wonderful strides in just a short time.  Keep us posted on his progress.

Best wishes to you and yours.
