good morning @RescueLover 🤗

sure is a beautiful one !   The weather sure is staying  warm and nice .   I don't remember it being so nice for this extended time in the past .   Here we call it Indian Summer,  never knew why though 🤔

I know wouldn't it be a treat to see te witch/moon painted ?   The painting in the moon is different on each of mine ,  eye color, eyeliner , pink blush darker on one then theynothrr.   Proof thst each is hand painted !    Her face is so pretty and I love her 

boots !   Thankfully you grabbed her just in time before selling out!

how wonderful that the deer have all that fruit to eat !!  They must love your yard !   And no clean up for you as the fallen fruit is eaten .  And for the bunnies too !   Love those little bunnies,  they are so cute !   When our cats see the bunnies  they go crazy !  Good thing they can never get them strictly indoor cats .   I feel they think the fox are dogs as they don't have much of a reaction as they are used to dogs.

Soooo I checked Order Status the other day to see if my witch got shipped and instead it showed BACKORDER ! 😔



I called right away and asked about it. The rep asked me if I would be interested in the Orange one because that was in stock. I told her YES and she immediately placed the order !


As of this morning it was shipped out and estimated to arrive Thursday. 😊



After all this …. All I can think of is I was meant to get the Orange one instead ! ! 😂




I’ll let you know when she arrives. 🧡


I’m EXCITED, because I know how STUNNING she will be !!

when I first started reading I was like Oh No not the dreaded Backorder !!.   Then I read you were able to get the orange version which I feel is beautuful as well as the violet,  I mean I feel all 3 are works of art !   they each have there own individual beauty !   I know you will love her just as much as the violet version.   Maybe you were meant to get this version all along 🤔Please let me know what you think when she arrives !

I got my witch and I Absolutely 🧡 HER !!


The orange is subtle not bright, just the perfect shade. Her dress is a deep Ombré Brown. The moon is the exact same as the Violet one had. Besides her dress I noticed the pumpkin she’s holding is much darker than the violet witch had. But that might have been just the particular violet witch that I had to return. The violet one I got the pumpkin was a pale orange.


I have her set up high on a cabinet in our living room, where she can be seen clearly. She’s Absolutely STUNNING !! 🧡

Did you see MC’s is having a Big 70% off sale this weekend. I’m wanting to buy a set of 4 Courtly Check coasters in the pattern that has the Moss Green border to match my cutting boards and my mini Moss green pumpkins in my kitchen.


The other set of Courtly Check coasters does not have a border, they’re just black and white checked.



I also liked the sweet Angel holding the candle. I think she’s $149, but the candle lights up.




Speaking of candles I’m thinking of putting a Luminara candle next to my witch to illuminate her and the moon ! 🌙

I'm thrilled for you !   So happy that you love her and being one of your favorite MC pieces Is saying a lot !   It sounds like you e found the perfect place for her too !    I did put a luminara candle behind mine and it illuminates her and the moon perfectly !  Her coloring sounds lovely !  

yes I got an email  about the sale .   I actually thought it was only fir going there in person.   So we can order online too then ?   There are a couple of items Ive had my eye on  Not sure if they will be part of the sale though.

 I have to go and take a look at the items you want .     Is the  Angel and candle your referring to the( 2 ) I purchased with the Angel on a candlestick ,?  it is an Angel with a candel is that right ?  What collection is it in do you know ?

I was hoping to go to Mackenzie Childs in Aurora this fall , around this time ,   but I've had Covid for the past 2 weeks , it finally got me !  I'm pretty much over it , just a lingering cough, but don't want to travel outside of my area right now.

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been sick with Covid for the past 2 weeks. 😔


But so glad you’re almost over it now and can get back to feeling like yourself again !! Did your Husband get it too ?


The pharmacist told me only people with medical conditions and over the age of 65 can get the Covid shot. Which I was surprised to hear because it sounds like cases are on the rise. Maybe they will change the requirements eventually.


Yeah I don’t blame you I wouldn’t be going anywhere where there are crowds either. You were right the MC’s warehouse sale is not online. What a Bummer !! 😩 Oh well….


I’ll have to look up that Angel I saw and let you know more about it.


Have to run some errands now and then pick up dinner.

i just went and looked up the retro Angel ,   She's beautful and definitely has that retro look !  I have a Angel that was my grandmothers , is very old and has the retro look.   I keep it in my curio cabinet all year.    Are you getting the Angel ?

my husband had Covid first and gave it to me..thanks 

honi lol !    He actually was very careful ,  stayed in the guest room , wore a mask when walking around ,  made no difference I got it anyway.  probably from taking care  of him.   My luck ran out as it's the first time getting it.  I know so many others had it 3 times even.

there are a few MC hoilday shows this month .   Maybe they wil offer your Angel .  The MC Christmas here online so far  isn't interesting.  There are a couple of Christmas Items I like on MC site .  They dont seem to have much new this year .   Maybe it is being held up with the tariffs .   I remember there being so much more in previous years.
