You’re right they do look like they have runs and smears. Not sure if that’s on purpose or what but they look distressed.

I think Cherry Check has been presented on air so maybe the YouTube videos are available to see a presentations of them. I’ll check on that too.


The only Deck the Halls item I own is the casserole dish and I just ❤️ it. I bought it at The Q for I think $79. It’s got Courtly Checks all around the outside of it.


I still don’t own their tea kettles, but I do like them. When they introduce their New Limited collection this year maybe one will catch my eye and I’ll grab it.

Sooooo I just looked at a video showing the set of 2 Cherry Vertical Striped trees with Jane T and Rebecca.

They show a table display of the trees with the Deck the Halls tea kettle and Cherry Check bowls.


The trees don’t have the streaks, but the CC bowls do.


So maybe YES the CC bowls and plates etc look that way. I’m wondering if it’s because most of the checks have different colors mixed in, but they didn’t want to add colors to the Cherry Check.


For example my Courtly Check, Sterling Check and Mocha all have shades of colors like blues and yellows mixed in. Subtle but still there.



If that makes any sense. 😂

@lynnie61   I agree with you it does look as though there are streaks or running of some sort  .   I have not seen that in any of my other pieces ,  but I dont own any cherry check which btw is very cheerful and would be lovely especially at holiday time !   I didn't look at the utube video , but I see @RescueLover has .  She has a good eye for MC so if she sees it as well it must be how they have decided to put the color , no color if thst makes sense,   unlike say courtly or Sterling which have blue, pinks, yellows as the shades going through .   Perfectly imperfect as @RescueLover @stated.

@well finally everyone has left and I'm alone with the kitties and went ahead and opened the pumpkin .   It is stunning !!  I love it ❤️.    I'm wanting to get the striped one to go with now lol 😂 

I know next Thursday can't come soon enough !   I think striped pumpkins to go with last years would be perfect !  Wish we could get a sneek peek .  It's something mid week to look forward to though right !? 🎃🩶

sad news.....   The MC TSV has been changed to home reflections !   I'm so dissapointed 😞. I can't imagine what happened?   Good news I guess you can call it ,  there are 2 shows that day , the 21st,  one at 4:00 pm & one @ 10:00pm ,  neither with Alberti .    I know you were looking forward to the TSV same as me.  I guess at least there will be 2 shows that's something.

I know I'm so dissapointed.   It must be that they couldn't get enough stock although like Valerie they could have done an advanced order ,  but perhaps not with a TSV.   I was set to get the striped lavender pumpkin if it was a choice.   I feel what is here online might just be all there will be 😞

I went ahead and ordered  , I know we call it lavender ,  but MC calls it violet,  the  violet check cascade floral pumpkin yesterday while there was the 5 EP'S .   I was hesitant as I wasn't sure about the shades of the florals ,  plus it isnt usually a style I would usually be attracted to ,  but something about  just called my name .  hopefully I will love it !

let's enjoy the shows Thursday regardless as we dont have many 💜.  And who knows maybe there will be a one time only or a big deal even !!!   That would be great !
