I had pale blue and white pop beads. Some of my friends had tons of colors. 

In my So. Cali high school the girls with a boyfriend's class ring wound the ring with yoyo string and sealed the string with pearlized nail polish. Then it became fashionable to put them on chains, especially if the rings were really heavy for their fingers.

I remember them, thought they were great, but don't remember owning any.  I don 't know why..... but we didn't have much money back then.  I remember not being able to have knee highs when all the other girls had them.  Then my Mom relented, I got a red pair and promptly put a big hole in one of them.....  

But today I love necklaces that have round beads and I think maybe my not owning any pop beads as a kid might have spurred that love of round beads because I own two necklaces, one in silver and one (my favorite) in all 14k gold....  and then I found earrings to match!  Yay!

I got my Niece a setl, when she turned 5, almost a year ago.  

I bought them on Amazon, pretty good sized set.

A few years ago I bought a big bag of them on eBay and gave them to my sisters in their Christmas packages.  We all remembered having them as kids, and had a good chuckle reminiscing.

@newname0 Yes pop beads were one of my favorites and I collected them for many years. Really resent my Mother for gettimg rid of my things and not letting me know she did.
