a very good way to beat hot flashes in the night

get a small blue ice.  place it in  a zip lock bag,  place in freezer.  then take it out and place in another ziplock bag.  place the the twice bagged blue ice under your pillow.  this will help keep your pillow cool. when you turn it over.  the first bag keep the blue ice from leaking if it breaks.  the second bag keeps the first bag dry.

i uise this in the summer when our temps are over 95 in the daay and it works.

Re: a very good way to beat hot flashes in the night

I installed a ceiling fan in the bedroom.  It ran from April to November and even in some of the really cold months.   I still use it all the time.

Your blue ice pack is a good idea.
