Finally, we're getting some cool weather!

For the last 7-10 days, the PNW has had unusually hot weather--up in the 90's+.  It's been very uncomfortable; we've run our a/c from dawn to bed time. I really appreciate the fact we're able to make ourselves comfortable but I dread what our electric bill will be.

Oh well; we have a good savings account :-) and it's sure worth it.

Anyway, the temps have dropped drastically--at least 10 degrees today and for the foreseeable future.

Here, too! The cool front means it will finally be below 100 for a few days. It's not often I say I'm looking forward to 95, but today I am!

@FuzzyFace   I am one of the unfortunate  people in the PNW without air conditioning.....  I just run about 10 fans at full force 24 hours a day... today ( Tuesday) it feels much better this morning... signs of a cooling trend.  Lucky you to have AC!  Maybe someday I will be so lucky Smiley Happy

@SeaMaiden  I remember packing for my trip & dd said not to worry if it gets hot...we don’t have humidity, so it doesn’t feel hot. Yeah, right!

Yes, that's how summers go now.   I don't even think of the 90's as hot anymore.  It's just weather and since I'm in the air conditioning all the time, I don't even know it's 96 outside.  We had a string of 80ish days for a week but the 90's are back for the next week anway.  Winters are so long and so cold that I am not about to complain about the heat.

@You don’t get outside so I can understand how you tolerate heat but then you might as well have winter weather if you are stuck indoors.
