YOUR FAVORITE THANKSGIVING DISH

I love the yams w/ crushed pineapple, pecans, marshmallows and cinnamon, but also like the old fashioned jellied cranberry sauce in a can (everyone makes the fancy kind w/ real berries...NO!). My most favorite, one of the only sweets I like, maybe 'cause it's a vegetable (?) is my pumpkin pie.

What are you looking forward to having on your Thanksgiving table?

@Shanus  Oyster filling (stuffing).  It was a family favorite when my grandmother and then mother made it. I've changed it just a bit over the years, but it's just wonderful!

My moms chicken and dressing. As time has gone by, this is the only dish she cooks and it is delicious.

And my mother in laws pecan pie.

Homemade stuffing (none of that Stove Top stuff!), and my sweet potato casserole.  I use the Mr. Food recipe....it is scrumptious!

Turkey and dressing. I have dressing once a year, and I just love it . 🦃

Re: YOUR FAVORITE THANKSGIVING DISH

a pretty basic  dressing recipe that has been handed down for a number of generations......made outside of the bird and it contains lots of butter, turkey drippings, and LOVE.
