I'm not a braggart, but this time I'm gonna toot my own horn!Woman LOL

I've inherited my parents house, which my Dad built in the late 40's, so I've got a small bathroom.  One wall of the room is mirrored, top half.  I've tried to no end to clean the upper part of the mirrors to no avail, usually just dusting with a long duster for dusting ceiling fans.  (I know, shame on me, but I'm only 5'1" and cannot get anything to fit between the fixtures so I can reach.)

Well today was different!  Had gotten a set of silicone bottle washers from ITKWD.  One was extremely long and narrow - some kind of bottle washer with a very long neck.  I took it and wrapped it with a dustrag (bought enough of them from QVC to stock a store!) and - eureka!!! - was able to wash the mirrored wall in a heartbeat!  So, I'm one happy camperWoman Very Happy!

I know, this is not major, but sometimes it's the little things in life that make our day and I just wanted to share it with my friends on the forum.

Also a big shout out to everyone who recommended Sprayway window cleaner - it's the best!!

And a big 'YAY' to the Q - love my new shower curtain - the red cardinals!  The bath is white and black tiles halfway up walls and floor and I painted the other walls pewter so the cardinals really make it pop!

Thanks for induldging me!Woman Embarassed

@eddyandme   Good for you.  What a great sense of accomplishment.  I bet those silicone gadgets were the ones from Germany presented on David Venable's In the Kitchen show about a month ago.

Your bathroom sounds very well coordinated.Smiley Happy

Thanks @aroc3435 !  Yes you're right, they're the ones from Germany.  And, totally unplanned, the lighter green in the shower curtain leaves perfectly matches the green kitchen walls I painted!  The kitchen is huge, the bathroom small - go figure!

Mine got lost in the mail, sigh.  That's what happens when you have a PO box.  I was waiting for your thread to lead into ladder use and I'm glad it didn't.
