My sentiments exactly.

She sent me an email apologizing saying "she hadn't talked to me since April".

I checked my calendar and it was April 26. 

What did she expect me to do?  Call her everyday for a month reminding her?

Funny thing about my adrenal insufficiency ... I feel nothing.  I just feel numb.

Like I don't care.  I can't make myself sicker over it.

I'm just going to let it go.

She probably didn't forget. Worse for HER, she didn't want to tell you that you weren't being hired again. Shame on her. You are NOT useless, but sometimes a job just doesn't fit. It's the universe's way of telling you that there is something better and even more to your liking out there! Put out the feelers and keep us posted!
