Re: Would you admit?...This is you?...

I am a procrastinator, but I am never late and everything is done on time.  I just work better when under the gun.

I am OCD regarding time management! Everything MUST be accomplished in a timely fashion; preferably ahead of schedule, as is usual for me.😄

All of my life I've been a planner. Raising 4 children my calendar was my best friend. After my children grew and 3 have flown the coop, I stopped. When I became ill and couldn't run the farm like I used to, I was advised to leave things off to my hub and ask for help. It makes me crazy because everything is last minute. Often times not completing the task. Every day I pray for more strength so I can run my life more efficiently. I still struggle and get angry when I'm pushed off as useless. In fact, I posted here requesting ideas on how to ship cookies. The typical response from a person was "Google it ". Folks really need to watch what they say. You never know who is receiving this. Now I try to stay on top of things way far in advance. I never know the time I'll be unavailable physically.

@DesertGems  I'm a typical Alpha. I get things done. Always been that way. It's just who I am.

Nope -- definitely not me!  If I know something needs done, I have to get to it!  Otherwise, I don't get have any peace with myself!  Also, I'm one of those people who always has to be early for appointments.

@DesertGems  Not me. I keep lists and schedule things out. Everything gets done in a timely manner. I don't like knowing there are chores, laundry, food shopping, etc. left undone. If anything, I'm too organized.

***List is on the frig. of my Thanksgiving menu and everything is ready (sides) to go in the oven tomorrow except the turkey....maybe a little compulsive.

@HonestLife   I'm sorry you received that response. It was not thoughtful. Please don't push yourself. What gets done will get done and try to find some help if possible. Wearing yourself out doesn't do anyone any good..especially you.

Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Re: Would you admit?...This is you?...

I enjoy my free time, although not very much of it. Planning to get things done in a timely way, gives me that time to paint, read or watch a great movie.

I noticed that most of these posts are from folks who are NOT procrastinators.  I guess the procrastinators haven't gotten around to answering yet lol.
