Words "the" & "and"

Does this bother anyone else? I can't count the number of times hosts and venders have said "the" (something) or "and" (whatever).

Really getting on my nerves.

Please provide some context so I can determine whether or not I'm bothered by what is generally considered a word that specifies or by use of compound sentences. Are the words being used in a different manner?

Gosh. I use those words a lot myself. Sometimes no other words will do.

They're used as links when speaking. The person is trying to construct a thought whine they are speaking.

It has to do with the electoral impulses on the brain.

I understand ‘and’, many people use that. I don’t hear it with ‘the’. Many people have to talk a lot so they need time to search for words. That’s why I like Jane T. She never needs to search for words!

And have you noticed how many times they say QVC? It's nuts!!!
