@occasionalrain I can gain weight easy if I totally let go , due to exercise issue. Since I have mobility issues I don't exercise, ride bikes, etc like I did. BUT, I DO EAT WHAT I want basically. And I stay same in my weight. I too don't eat diet anything, or artificial anything for the most part. I think if you eat well rounded, don't gorge, you will do fine. At least I find it true with me. I do eat candy, pastries now and then, what I want kind of. I see people do that all the time and not be over weight. I realize some can't eat carbs or sugar or they off on the deep end, luckily I choose what I eat for health, and taste too

Been watching since the early 90s, so there have many longtime salespersons on air. Based on this, the answer is NO. Some seem to have blown up like a balloon. Sizing has changed too, there used be a lot of 32 bras. Now mostly gone.

@Still Raining sizes have changed! Idk how old you are, but I am 77, and the sizes were different back before late 1970's, early. 1980's. They have gotten larger, but for real, lol. In the mid 60's I wore a size 10 or 12. I was 125 lbs, 5'4", and had hour glass type figure. I was very muscular as I was an avid walker, and biker. Now I weigh about 135, shrunk to 5'2", still am hour glass shaped but wear a 10, or Medium. If I bought any clothes at QVC I wear small mostly. I believe the Universal sizing changed in 1982, but could be wrong. That's why sometimes vintage, or antique clothing always seems so small for the size inside label these days. At least what I have discovered

I don't think it would make me any more conscientious of what I look like out in every day life.
If I were on TV, it would be in front of millions of people. People I don't know!
But in every day life, it's around my husband, family, friends. I think I'm more conscientious around people I know.
So the answer to your question is, no.

I stay in shape b/c it's good for my health. I don't need a camera.
That's the truth. It's almost like it's a matter of life or death. Seriously.
Just like smoking would be. Do you want to risk death from lung cancer or whatever other cancers are associated?
It's really what it boils down to ....
