We're not even getting winter.  It's been less and less, particularly over the last 10-15 years.   We used to get butt-deep snow, regularly.  The last snow we had this season was in December and, even up at my house (west of town toward the mountains) it was only a few inches.

The highs have been in the 50s to around 60 for weeks now.

I hate this because I've always loved winter and ended up staying up here when I was at a crossroads, a few decades ago, specifically because I loved how we would have about 8 months of cold and snow.   I've been here for well over 4 decades.

I'm very sad to see winter slowly going away, more and more each year.  Smiley Sad

Those are gorgeous photos!  I especially love the first one, the angles with the trees and sky.

This is a photo of my area.  Seagulls standing on the ice.

Patches of snow still visible here in southern WV, high today was 30.   Mostly sunny with highs in the 30's and low 40's this week, dropping into the 20's at night.   No snow concerns for us until next Sunday.

Days in the 30's to lower 40's.  Nights in the 20's.  Possibly freezing rain overnight tonight/early tomorrow morning.  All normal in these parts. Not too terrible at all for those that live here and are used to it.   Philadelphia has a true four season climate. Winter can be a blizzard, bomb cyclone, polar vortex, and temps can get below zero. Summer can be temps over 100, with sweaty heavy humidity. And every thing else in between the two extremes in Spring and Fall.

In Reno it has been sunny and blue skys.  It is cold at night in the 50's during the day.  No wind.  It has been very nice.  Not sure what ski resorts are doing.

Beautiful pictures!

I live on Long Island and it's still very much Winter here as well.  We had two feet of snow last weekend, but it's pretty much gone now.  The temps warmed up into the 30s last week, but went right back to the teens and 20s this past weekend.  Today we are expecting freezing rain and some slight snow showers.

It has been a particularly cold Winter here.  We always get snow, but not usually two feet of snow.  The temps don't stay as frigid for such long periods of time either.

Even though it's still Winter here, I know Spring is coming quickly.  The days are starting to become longer (yay!) and that gives me hope.  Looking forward to better days ahead.
