Why does the Q have a 2nd channel? What's the purpose? Hae they ever explained it?

Actually they have a third channel also. Q2 and Beauty IQ. They have them to make more money. If you don't like what they are selling, go to one of the others.

They have 3 channels. QVC, Q2 and the Beauty Channel. Years ago Pat James went over to the QVC Fashion Channel. Then she came back when they ended the channel. I guess if you don’t want to watch QVC, you can watch one of their other channels.

I keep forgetting they have three channels since QVC is the only channel I get on Comcast in my area.

I guess it's to expand their 'empire'. I read here a long time ago QVC had purchased SOME of HSN stock.

But recently everyone is speaking out about QVC and HSN being 'part of the same group' (however it's worded....together?). I just know I read this:

To increase sales, they actually have 3 channels but I believe the Beauty one is only available online. The more channels they have, the more choices customers have. I never watch the Beauty channel but my younger daugther who is makeup and skincare fanatic watches it all the time. It's the only QVC programming she does watch so if it wasn't available, she would buy anything from QVC.
