My favorite was probably Cindy. She seemed sweet.

I remember Christy Turlington being popular too but lots of boys in our

high school liked Paulina Porizkova.

@threecees oh my! Paulina WAS gorgeous! I remember as a kid looking through magazines and being in awe. Christy T has not aged at all, she looks exactly the same.

I can appreciate beauty, but I was never impressed by super models. Other than the basic requirement of being very tall and super thin, the rest is smoke and mirrors. The only model I can remember is Twiggy.

@blackhole99 Good for you. But some women also appreciate other women successes and are not threatened by it. I think there is a little more talent involved than just smoke and mirrors.

@mintedroseI don't think it's fair for you to insinuate that I don't appreciate other women's successes because I don't see super models the same way you do. Let's face it, you would not recognize these gals on the street without their hair, makeup and special lighting. No, I am not kidding you!

Not insinuating, because Im not one whos saying all models are only made up or smoke and mirrors. It doesnt take anything from us to say something nice about other women.

And yes, you would notice them without hair and makeup. Many are naturaly beautiful.

Who would be threatened by a supermodel? NOT me or ANYONE I know.

The ONLY talent they have is knowing how to walk on a runway.
