My DH was all of those wonderful things except sometimes not being patient, or a good listener when preoccupied. Funny, though, my dog isn't the best with those particular issues either.

 

I've often said that some of my dog's behaviors remind me of my DH. The two of them together would have been a team to deal with, for sure.
