@PA Mom-mom was it Hollister with the blaring music? They were one of them for sure.

And it was always so dark inside.  GD shops there now and they've finally changed the lighting so I can see!  lol

@Wsmom  -  I remember years ago it was like being in a nightclub with the darkness and loud music.  I wonder if they experienced a lot of theft during that period.

My freshman year we had to walk a ways to the dinning hall and we all heaped them on a sofa by the restroom.  What a mess to try and find yours 😂

We live in the Midwest where it can get pretty darn cold.  We would leave our coats in the car and make a run for it if we went to the mall.  I won't even go there anymore - it's been years.

The winter I went through the big M, I never put a heavy coat on at all.   😆

@Queen of shop My husband wears a coat to the mailbox.  My dad and I would go up the hill to the barn and throw hay to the horses shirt sleeves unless it was raining, hailing or sleeting, or snow was deep.

We figured it would take more of a hassle hangers to put on the coat and take it off than to make the trip up the hill if you hurried!!!!  You might be a little cold but you weren't gonna die or anything!!!Woman LOL

No, I live in the northeast where it's cold and I personally run cold. However I do remember 25 years ago standing in line at the Italian bakery on Christmas Eve having a major hot flash wearing my down coat, scarf and hat. I thought I was going to pass out.

A very kind lady standing near me quietly whispered, " They get much better over time." Lol.  Thankfully, those days are over. One benefit of being an old lady, I guess.
