@781Florist

I've had the same one since 2002.  No problems.

I don't have one of these but I know about them.  They're pretty darn handy if you don't have a spray (hose) nozzle or yours is non-functional.  This screws onto your kitchen faucet.  Super cheap at $8.  There are other types too.

@Luvsmyfam

Are you SURE it's not just minerals clogging the sprayer?

If you haven't already done so, soak the head in a glass of vinegar for an hour or more and see if there's any difference.  You'll only need a couple ounces to cover the sprayer.

If it's any better, do the vinegar thing once more, giving it more time.

You can do it yourself, and the price is right, lol.  Woman Happy

I use what @monicakm  mentioned even though I have a working sprayer.There is also one that has a longer section attached for further reach.

Doing it herself is not wise advise.  She is renting and if she tried to fix it herself and accidently damaged anything it would be her fault and she would have to pay damages.

If she is without water or just has a trickle the landlord is responsible and making a complaint to housing authority is the way to go.

If this is a pattern for the landlord considering moving might be something to consider.

@Luvsmyfam I

I would give him a few days and then I would contact him again.  I would say -- if it would be easier for you, I can contact a plumber to do it and then deduct the price of it from my rent.  Hopefully, that will cause him to come and fix it!!!

@Luvsmyfam

Our first apartment didn't have a sprayer so I had a plastic watering can under the sink for when I needed to scour the sink.  It worked well in the bathroom as though sinks never have a sprayer.

At our condo, I use it to add water to the too low water level in my new ( hated ) washer.

@Luvsmyfam I would also keep after him to get a plumber in to fix it. He is the landlord, you should not have to pay a plumber.

I would wait for him to repair/replace the faucet.

If you take the repair into your own hands, then next time something goes wrong he is more inclined to just procrasinate.  He knows you will end up doing it.

I would keep contacting him until he does what he's supposed to do as a landlord -- keep everything in good working order.  (Promptly)

As others mentioned @Luvsmyfam

Plumbers are VERY expensive....and around here....booked up for weeks!

A sprayer is Nice to have....but it isn't prohibiting you from using your sink....it is a convenience.

I just mean if it were a broken toilet, blown fuse....something that keeps you from functioning....I would consider hiring myself....but not for a sprayer.

Unless you can deduct it from your rent....but that might not fly.
