Re: When you look back at your life

Don’t look back, there mybe things that you didn’t like doing.Life is short, look ahead you will be more satisfied.Sometimes when we are young we don’t realize mistakes. At that time we are thinking we know everything

I first thought, why would I answer this question?  Then why not?  I would have given up alcohol, smoking, and unsuitable men much sooner than I did.

Think about what you are doing today, and how you can make it better tomorrow.

Re: When you look back at your life

As I look  back now, I wish I had been more forceful about the location chosen by my husband. I loved him very much and he had a job that he loved. So, I married him and we moved there. It was not at all what I was used to but made good friends and found a job, bought a  home and all was OK. But it really wasn't,  the kids did fine and so did he but the area did not. As I have grown older I see that I need a more urban setting that is clean and not falling apart. I wish that I had said that it wasn't ok to live there and needed to find a place to settle that was agreeable to both of us.

@corismom1: I don't know your age but unless you are 80 plus it's not too late to move. I know, we picked up after 25yrs in a small remote town, and moved to a different state; we moved from the desert to the mountains.

I honestly would not change one single thing. I wouldn't have the wonderful life that I have now if something was done differently on my road through life. Woman Happy
