I see some of my beloved mother who is in heaven. I see some of my dad. I see anxiety and sadness over things that happened thru the years. But I see a Survivor too who is getting better by the grace of God

Not a "what", but a "who".  Who I see is someone I like, that has lived, and is presently living a fairly long and great life. Older face, same desires I have had all of my adult life, and even back to my early teen years.  

My looks have changed but my basic character and characteristics have not. I still live and believe in my younger way of life, and still participate, actively, in much of it.  'Bout it!

A tall, slender 70 year old woman who has enjoyed a blessed life, as well as weathered the perverbial storms. Being deeply loved gave me strength, while loving deeply gave me courage. Independent, determined; family, faith, career, social, politically and community oriented have kept my heart and soul, mind, and body younger than my age. Anxious for the next decade(s) to see what my grandson does with his many talents. So grateful to be around and for what I see in that mirror!
