When Do You Go From Middle-age to Old-Age & When From There to Elderly?

I think 70 is slipping into "Old-age" and 83-85 is slipping into Elderly -- BUT THIS IS JUST BASED ON SITUATIONS IN MY OWN EXTENDED FAMILY, not medical definitions, or covid definitions, or medicare definitions.

What do you think, "When Do You Go From Middle-age to Old-Age & When From There to Elderly?"

From the NIH:

• Infants (1 month to 1 year)
• Children (1 year through 12 years)

I'm 88. I try to eat right and work out physically and mentally. Folks marvel that I am able to wear shoes and boots with 5 inch heels. I guess I got a good set of DNA from my parents.

There should be no one-size-fits-all chart.  Some people are old at 50 while others are young at 90.
