Re: Whats for din din tonight?

@Luvsmyfam  I've spent a nice day at home cleaning and putting up fall decor. For dinner I'm making (it's only 4:30pm here) pot roast with mashed potatoes. It's Ree Drummonds recipe that always turns out perfect. This roast will last me all week. Maybe shredded beef tacos tomorrow. Your pizza sounds good.... enjoy!

Re: Whats for din din tonight?

2 ears of local corn on the cob, our own garden tomatoes, sliced, and a peach from a local market and ice water to drink.  I love the local and home-grown produce this time of year.  It will soon end here in the Northeast.

I barbequed chicken skewers that I had marinating and saffron rice.

Honey-Sesame-Salmon, Quinoa & Brown Rice with sauteed mushrooms in red wine and Worcestershire, and Corn on the Cob.

It's the only way I can eat Quinoa, can't even stand the smell of it otherwise.

Never heard it called din din.... but if you mean dinner,...burgers and dogs on the grill.

Re: Whats for din din tonight?

I've been cooking nightly but it was so hot tonight, I heated up leftover meatloaf, mashed potatoes and made fresh veggies.

Pizza sounds delish! Hope you enjoyed it.

Re: Whats for din din tonight?

I rewarmed my steak last night under the broiler.

DH grilled chicken wings and did slices of green tomatoes with corn meal and olive oil.  We both had a salad and half of a grilled potato.

Re: Whats for din din tonight?

We had roasted salmon with asparagus and brown rice. I roast the asparagus with the salmon...so good. Always have left over salmon to put on a salad the next day.
