I lived out in the country and was afraid of Bigfoot looking in my window at night.

Fallen trees and dark (lake) water. I'm still uneasy about these things. I'm thinking I must have had a terrible pre-life experience.

ME TOO!!! I HATE them!!  When I was little I came across a big wolf spider on our basement stairs,  when my dad hit it with a broom,a million babies came off it's back and they were all over.....I screamed bloody murder...and to this day, can not stand them things...freaks me out !!

When our daughter was little, she was afraid of deer eyes ( glowing at night when looking at a light...she called them 'monster eyes')  and she was also scared of pinecones...she would say they were "monster food" and start looking around for the deer...to this day, she will not have a pinecone in her house...says they're bad luck...

YES! Hahaha! A few weeks ago they had quicksand on an episode of MacGyver and it brought back all these memories.

@YorkieonmyPillow   OH GOOD!  I have one of those little torches you use in the kitchen to brown creme brulee!  I feel sure that will work (at least for the small ones!).  LOL!!!
