Now I am retired I rarely eat breakfast , just coffee and a piece of toast or an english muffin. We have lunch at noon and dinner at 5:30 every day.I'm rarely ever actually hungry - which is a wonderful thing after all the years of work & being half starved most of the time.
Isn't toast and coffee breakfast?????

If we go out to eat we prefer top go out for lunch. The portions are more normal and the prices better. Then we have soup or a sandwich for dinner. It is better for our digestion to eat our largest meal mid day and eat light for dinner.

We really don't have a set dinner.
We usually eat lunch out and that's our big meal for the day.
I usually have microwave popcorn for dinner or some yogurt. My husband might microwave a frozen meal or have cheese and crackers.
When we DO eat at home, our main meal still is at lunch.

In my family, dinner was always at noon and supper was at 5 p.m.
I eat anywhere between 11 and 2 for my early meal and 4 and 6 for my late meal.

If your trail mix had any dried fruit or sweets in it, that would be what was making you hungry.

If I'm eating at home, between 6:30 and 7:00 PM. If we're going out, usually between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. When I was working, I rarely got home and got something together before 8:30, so 6:30 is early for me.

Another one for 5-5:30 and never later than 6.
I just don't want to be out in the kitchen cleaning up and washing pots and pans at 7-7:30.

My husband and I eat when we are hungry, but if I'm having guests it's 5 or 6pm.

Dinner is at 8. We watch Jeopardy at 7; it ends at 7:30 and we have dinner after that. We aren't snackers, don't care for chips and other snack food, maybe some fruit. I suppose those who go to bed early need to eat earlier.
