We LOVE brusel sprouts but my DH makes a green bean dish with bacon and vinegar - german style - so that is what we always have. I may do brussel sprouts to go with Christmas dinner standing rib roast.

I remember doing all you just described years ago too. I was crazy trying to do it all and with little kids running around too. But thank goodness, those days are past for me. However such a beautiful table scape is a feast for the eyes and make the food and company even better. Bravo to you!!!
