Re: What do you consider Old Lady clothes?

Whoever said they didn't realize there were "bad figures" -- really?  They're everywhere.

Hi @santorini   Whoever here!  I don't know what makes a figure bad.  If one has a figure, I think that is pretty good!  I wonder if you have what you consider a "bad" figure.  You can post it and we can get a better understanding of what you mean.

Wearing neutral colors, subdued colors and no prints helps us to look more timeless.

Clothes that are not too baggy, fitted, but not tightly fitted, helps, as well.

Too much jewelry is not a good look, is also my opinon. Pay attention to what jewelry does NOT over-emphasize older womens' hands, wrists, etc. Some colors of metals look better on different skin tones, as well.

In any case: ENJOY YOUR LIFE.
YOU DECIDE ON YOUR OWN STYLE.

Be well.

To me "old lady" is a style and not necessarily any particular garment or accessory. You make it what it is at any age.

Re: What do you consider Old Lady clothes?

I'm old and everytime I go out, I get compliments on some item I'm wearing.

Beautiful tops and jackets that are not seen much because everyone around my area wear black tights and black tops.  No one dresses up.

My clothes are casual, but colorful.  Tastefull and even a few young men said, I like you top.  Mostly, young women say, Oh, I love that blouse you are wearing.  Or, where did you get that cute jean jacket, or suede jacket?

In my area, young styles are tight black work out tights.  I'm slim and would not wear them out,  But whatever makes a person feel comfortable, wear it. It might not be your style, so don't wear it.
