Re: What a week it’s been!

I forgot to add that my Blessing is, I still have my 97 year old Mom who is sharp and has a better memory that some of her 6 kids.  We talk everyday, catch up, go over the news, and laugh.  I treasure her so much.  I've told her, "Mom, when you get to Heaven, you have to figure out how to call me".  She's ready to see our Dad and I tell her that I understand and all I want to do is make her comfortable (she has really bad arthritis) in her remaining time with us.  Thanks for reading this.

Your post @paulabugs, made me cry. Such a wonderful memory of your husband and such a gift to have your mother here. Mine was a few months short of 99. It is a wonderful thing to have our mother and best friend everyday for as long as we can, isn't it?!Heart

@homedecor1,

What a beautiful and loving birthday your husband and family had planned for you. I'm sure it was so bittersweet. It sounds like you all could feel your husband there with you to let you know that love does last forever no matter where we are.
