Re: What Has Happened With Walmart's Delivery?

I gave up on my home delivery from Walmart. I had almost $50 worth of stuff missing from my last order. I called Customer Servoce immediately and they did give me a refund.....but I wonder if they would  if it happened again...

I got an order from Walmart dot com on Weds with toys for Christmas gifts for my Granddaughter. I realized one Barbie was one that she already had, so I took it back to my Walmart store with the printed slip. The Customer Sevice gal told me the description matched....but the UPC didn't. Well, that's what they sent me! I did get my refund, but she made me feel like I was trying to pull something on her....

I finished my shopping on Amazon...

Re: What Has Happened With Walmart's Delivery?

Before you finish the check out @ECBG you can review the items in the list and it should show which item or items haave the shipping charge.  I suspect there was at least one or two outside vendors providing some item(s) you selected.

When that happens to me I click on save for later for those item(s) and continue shopping to find substitutes if their removal doesn't hit the $35 dollars minimum before tax to get free shipping.

Navigating their site isn't the easest. Sometimes I open another window and items are still in cart and I can start a "clean" search without losing what I already had in my basket.

Sometimes despite me selecting deliver to home only they still show some items for store pickup only which I don't want since I don't drive.  Same with "Walmart only" checked non W vendors are still shown.  Their filters aren't the best.

Hope this helps.

Right now, I pay the $12 a month for as many deliveries I want ($35 or more) from WalMart.  I wouldn't go into a Walmart or other big box store, aka petrie dishes, for anything these days.

My favorite grocery store offers online shopping and pick it up at drive-up.  They put it in my trunk and there is no contact.

I usually buy non-perishables and dairy from Walmart. I'd pick up at Walmart but they make you go inside to get it.  I buy meat and produce from my grocery store.

Re: What Has Happened With Walmart's Delivery?

Last week I made an order, so I could get a dozen cans of pumpkin and a couple of other things (to get it over $35) and there was no shipping.

However, their packing could use some help.   5 of the cans were dented, 3 of which were severely dented.   The box was way too large.  At least they wrapped the glass jars of jam so they, miraculously, arrived in one piece.

I asked this question last night and it's gone... what is the advantage of joining some program for free shipping if there is still a $35 minimum order on those orders?

@VanSleepy

I've learned that some items work, some don't.

I wonder why is spray starch "pick up only"?

@ECBG  There is a government site that lists that among paints and other items as being flammable because of the pressure it is under.
