I had run errands all day, and came home. I thought I would add items I buy at Walmart with grocery items I would be needing that weren't perishable and have them delivered.
I have had orders that reached $35.00 delivered in just the past few months.
There was no amount of merchandise I could add to my cart without a $9.95 delivery charge. They also suggested $7.00 tip for delivery.
I left the cart. Heck! I'll just go!
Anyone having any tricks for the $35.00 free shipping or anything close?
I don't want a $90+ delivery deal from them either, thanks.

I don’t, but I know quite a few of us here would recommend their pick up service. It’s very well run.

I just ordered like I usually do and went thru fine.Sorry you are having issues.Man that would not be good as I order bout once a week.Talk about pulling rug out from under you.
Your items are sold from Wal-Mart? The items that come from other places can set their own shipping it says.
Take care.Hope it gets straight so you can place order.Good Luck.

@ECBG I think you were ordering under the "express delivery" section, where there is a $35 minimum amount, but additional charges apply. If you were to just order from Walmart online with the normal "old fashioned" delivery from UPS or similar, you should have received free shipping.
There is always the option of doing the delivery service to your car when picking up at the store - that delivery is also free and you can schedule a day and time to pick it up.

I've used the pick up service for several years but thought there was always a charge for home delivery outside of a brief trial period. Somebody has to pay for the gas and insurance to deliver it.

I've gotten free delivery for a $35 order. Those were soap items and OTC pharmacy items but I had a few grocery items in pouches.
This time wasn't much different but had laundry items.

I thought poster was talking about Wal-Mart.com where you get 2day delivery & free shipping on $35 or more.
I use grocery pickup every week but nice to have porch delivery from .com for larger items like bags of cat food ,tp,& cat litter to name a few.Mine usually come by FedEx.

@ECBG I'm not sure but log out and try logging in again - on the top left of their page, there is a pickup & delivery area right next to the dot com, maybe it just defaulted to the express and delivery option?
I just placed an order and got the free shipping with delivery in about a week.
