Many have died. I'm not star-struck, and don't spend a lot of time dwelling on stars, in life or death. But, there was one that hit me hard.... Robin Williams, as much for how this man, who brought so much laughter and joy to so many, died, as that he died.

Rod McKuen, Leonard Cohen ... but I don't "miss" their talent. I have CDs and videos, and there are any number of YouTube videos.
Writers .... we have their books to read and re-read.
Artists .... we can still their paintings / sculptures.

That would be George Carlin, whom many say I resemble. Not many are able to turn every day happenings into humor, he could and did. Sure, a lot of his material was meant for non-prudish "Adult Only" audiences, but most knew that before seeing, or listening to him. Haven't seen anyone come even close to him since his death in 2008.
I for 1 miss him.

I miss Michael Jackson.🤔 He was a very troubled soul but gave us several DECADES of memorable music. I remember the first time I saw him do the "robot" on television-my jaw dropped. My friends and I had the biggest crush on him and could not wait for the next 45 single to come out. I always smile when I think of The Jackson 5.
