We saw Paul Anka in a fairly small arena a few years ago, he put on an amazing show.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

Re: What Are Old Musicians You've Gone To See?

Even as a teenager, I was always drawn to the pop culture of previous generations.  Loved vintage films even then.  So the most memorable concert I ever went to was one of Lena Horne, in a swank hotel (the perfect setting for an artist of her sophistication).

My parents' favorite song was Lena Horne's version of "Stormy Weather".  My Dad used to try to sing it to my mother,  but Lena had him beat by quite a bit...

Others I wish I could have seen in person:  Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Al Jolson.

Re: What Are Old Musicians You've Gone To See?

I enjoy 60's music. Last summer I saw the Happy Together Tour - Turtles, Mark Lindsay, Cowsills, Gary Puckett. Some still good, some not so much.

My favorite (saw him 4 times in the last few years) is Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits.  Sounds even better than he did back then and still looks great at the age of 69.

I met Bob Dylan in 1974.  It was the only time I acted like a stereotypical crazy girl.  I've also seen Rod Stewart, Bonnie Raitt, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen Moody Blues, Carly Simon, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Pure Prairie League, Doobie Brothers, Billy Joel, ZZ Top, Styx, and several others.  I had a lot of fun in the 70s.
