Several news sources reporting statement issued by her people
same diagnosis as Bruce Willis.
Love her or hate her, she's had a bumpy road
Best of wishes to her , and the people caring for her

Oh I hadn't heard that on GMA today. That's too bad. Seems like she has had a very bumpy ride for many years.

Poor woman, I hope she gets the care and privacy she deserves.

I never watched her show, but it's a shame. Such terrible diseases anymore, it seems.

Can't muster up any sorrow or pity for her. I used to be a big fan but when her mother died several years ago she didn't go to her funeral. I quit watching then and never went back...

Sorry to hear this. Not really educated on that disease but what little I heard of Bruce Willis's condition...doesn't sound great. Not sure how treatable it is.
Her show used to amuse me...and I liked her. Her personal life was just that to me, I can't even speculate on any of it.
As others have said here...I wish her the best of care, and privacy.
Yes...too many weird things getting everyone lately. My (Boomer) generation is not fairing well at all...not nearly like my parents' generation, where so many I know lived into their 90's and beyond, and, at least in my family had strong constitutions. (Well...one side is better than the other in that...) And it's not reassuring that my own gynecologist said to me, as we discussed the changes to the medical system and the "longevity" differences between our generation and our parent's...she said, with regards to healthcare, "our generation is scr*wed." From my doc. Sigh. 😞

Remember host Connie Kunkle (ShopHQ), died of the same disease...
frontotemporal dementia.

That's a very tragic disease. I think Bruce Willis can't talk anymore- And Robin Williams committed suicide after diagnosis. Very sad.

@SilleeMee oh my gosh yes,I totally forgot about Connie, but I do remember shows where she would laugh almost uncontrollably, almost seemed like she
was on something... Connie was such a bright light on that channel

@Spacrazy Ya but I think she was struggling even back then
I think it's a pretty layered diagnosis here with the alcohol and
drugs , this disease is ruthless in who it comes for, it don't care
