Watch out on the road in Georgia.  I just read that the governor has suspended the driving portion of the exam for new driving licenses.  That means new drivers can now get a license without being tested on their driving skills.  Yikes.

That's crazy. The roads in Atlanta are crazy like they are in Birmingham. Both areas are like driving on a racetrack.

Are you kidding????  If true, I hope other states don't copy it.  How many people die in auto deaths every year?

@Krimpette   the article didn't say why, but I am assuming it is so that the workers don't have to get in the cars that are not disinfected and they can remain sociall distant.

This will likely impact young new drivers more and they're statistically the ones involved in the most accidents. Interesting choice.

@Travone

Not sure which is worse....I'm in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area and speed is now the problem.

People have been routinely clocked going 90 and above.  Not uncommon to find them doing over 100.

I’ve never had to take an actual driving test and I have a good driving record. I don’t know what’s required these days but I took drivers Ed in high school.
