Re: Wait til you hear what an Amazon driver did.

We don't always get the Amazon truck, but college kids driving their own cars. They sometimes drop off packages at our back garage door which is even a different street address since we have a corner lot.

I would be satisfied and thankful in this day and age I received the package. I think carriers are extremely stressed out.

That has happened to me too with FedEx and UPS. Thankfully, I did receive the packages.

@Estellee    I have no idea which delivery service Nordstrom uses...but I had a package dropped at the END OF MY DRIVEWAY once.    YEAH, I "let them know".         di

Thank you for all of your replies. This is just not acceptable for us.

Years ago (I say that a lot,I apologize) when in x-ray school I was asked would it be ok if I forgot to do a view  of L5,6? That also is not acceptable. Lieng about sigs, etc may be a small thing to some, but not to us.

@Tori3569     Yeah...but careless.    I have looked for my "package" all over the neighborhood, at night, with a flashlight.   Kinda dangerous...only to find it the next day in my mailbox...     di

Edited to add:    My mailbox is NOT at home.    I have to drive there.    If I wanted to get in the car, I would have gone to the store in the first place.

Where your mailbox is located is your choice.

It wasn't a lie. It was a simple mistake. Be thankful your package was in your mailbox and move on.

@CalminHeart       Actually, it is NOT my choice.    Phoenix postal workers do not walk a route....    (It's the weather.)

It's your choice where you live. You chose to live somewhere without a walking route, whether it was choosing the city or location or a place without walking routes. Fyi, my sister has lived in Phoenix for 25 years and her mail is delivered to her house.
