VOLUNTEER Work - Help!

Hi Friends,

I'm going to start doing volunteer work in 2 weeks and just got a request to send my bio and a photo. I am NOT photogenic! (Not at my age! LOL!) Is there some way to have a photo done and have it airbrushed so my hooded lids, bags and jowls don't show so badly?

If this is volunteer work, why would one care? Even if you photoshop, they will see you and then what? I'm not into photos of myself either. But I learned the hard way by doing what you are asking to do. When I arrived it was a surprise to the person I was meeting.

You could probably get one of those "glamour shots" done.

Think of it as getting your driver's license photo taken. I hate it too and certainly don't look like I did when I was younger.

Find a kid and have them use the instagram filters on your phone. They can work magic these days. No charge! Your selfie will be beautiful!

Take a smiling picture & send it in...you have a good & giving heart, that's all that matters. I'll share that I volunteer at several hospitals & other groups...I know who I am, what I believe & live it so wrinkles, bags & sags simply don't matter to me & even if it did people already know what I look like. Enjoy volunteering! I love it.

Why? Are you volunteering for a beauty contest? My drivers license and conceal carry (CCW) pictures showing me like my wife has said to me many times. "You look like a homeless man", and not even just my pictures. I have to show 1, or both of them, seems 'bout everywhere I go!
