I was under the impression you were in an emergent situation. I read it as being a life threatening blood clot, 30 pound weight loss, no mobility and pain. Thus my suggestion.

So did ours when I had a health issue last year @ECBG . But I would have died if I had not gone. Think about it. You have lost 30 pounds, have a life threatening blood clot, swelling and are unable to stand. Call your medical team. Call someone who can advocate for you!

Another concern is the nurse not being able to understand your morning voice.  It may have not been your voice but how you spoke, as in having a TIA at the very least.  I speak from experience there.  

I am so sorry to read all you are going through @ECBG , and hope you are able to get someplace for a full evaluation and help very soon.  Sending prayers and many positive thoughts.

Also, as far as going to emergency, I have heard that if you arrive by ambulance you will be treated much quicker than when you walk in and with everything going on with you it seems that would be a logical way to go.
