When I first moved to the west coast desert, my child & I lived in an apartment for a  few months while our new house was being built. One morning I opened our ground floor apartment door on my way to take my child to daycare, and 5' away was a large rattlesnake trying to get into the apartment across from ours. I was too afraid to even scream & when the office opened I called them for help. By that time, the rattlesnake disappeared.

I always wondered if the snake made it into the other apartment & was in the vents or something. I couldn't wait to move out.

Another time, I was driving home with my child in the evening, and there was a sidewinder snake moving across the road.

I detest & fear all snakes. I don't like any snake pattern clothes or accessories either; they just remind me of awful snakes.

Only snake I have seen is a garden snake. Let's keep it that way.

I also have a phobia of snakes.  The only ones I want to see are dead ones.

Awww.... I am sorry for the poor birdies!❤ I have LOVED❤ snakes most of my life, and am quite comfortable handling them.🥰 I RESPECT the poisonous ones while keeping a SAFE distance, and would LOVE❤ to have seen your reptilian "visitor".😁 My dear grandmother taught me not to be afraid, but she was TERRIFIED of worms.😂
