@SXMGirl No, not a neighbor - states clearly the mail carrier delivered it to me in person and I signed it ______ (which is not my siggy nor how I sign ever).... both stated the same thing and was in a print form partly and partly a big scribble. Since the seller said I must sign for it, it could not be left with any neighbor, that I'm aware of....
A person can get a copy of the 'signature' by email from the USPS. They scan it. When I saw both, I was speechless. It's the same person signing. They should of have left a slip they attempted delivery and would try again as it needed my signature. They signed it themselves instead. I'm hurt they still would not knock/ring my bell today and meet me face to face.....would take only 5 mintues.

@cbrite@mousiegirl@SXMGirl@Spurt You stated that "over a year ago four packages were delivered . . . " and that is the reason you now have to sign for all packages. You've also made the comment you have never seen any of the delivery people. If you receive packages, you must see and speak with the drivers.
I'd remove the large signs, begin treating them with respect and be as kind as possible every time they stop. If you are waiting for them and they don't have to wait on you to answer the door, their day will continue in a timely fashion. Bet your service improves within six months.
Working with the public is never easy. Those USPS employees have passed all kinds of personality tests to ensure their personalities are friendly, helpful and outgoing. Be very careful; you don't want your delivery service cut off completely. Some customers do have to pick up their mail at the nearest Post Office. Good luck.

@BirkiLady You are confusing one poster's experience with another, so your reply doesn't fit.

I don't have any advice on your usps problem, but I just wanted to say hi to you because I haven't seen you around.
Despite your recent usps headache, I hope you're doing good and that spring is springing in your area. Take care! 🌷

@cbrite @mousiegirl @SXMGirl @Spurt Well, that requires a huge apology to both cbrite and mousiegirl. I'm so sorry, ladies. Tried to delete that post, but of couse, was not able to do so since it had been copied. My mistake lives on forever. MY APOLOGIES regarding the first paragraph about the four packages (that was not cbrite's packages or post). I'll see you all tomorrow afternoon or evening!

@KitTkat Oh thank you! I hope you are doing very well too! 🌸 We had a bit of a hot spell with humidity at 98% - a bit of rain which I love. I'm trying to download photos from my garden on this new Mac but still learning. I sort of got off track on the Logic Pro X... is music city there!! I just cannot figure out how to mix down the tunes. When I get it worked out I'll let you know ![]()

Ours was marking our items as “delivered” even when they weren’t. Every single time he did it, I complained and got rather nasty replies from the manager of our local post office, telling me that they were probably stolen!. I knew what he was doing. He was fudging the numbers so that it appeared to Amazon that my packages were being delivered on time. Then, a day or two later, the packages would miraculously show up.
One day last week, I got a bundle of various mail pieces that should have been delivered in December!
its really frustrating! And now, due to cost, I have to get one of my thyroid meds by mail order. We’ll see how this goes! Caremark has already messed up and it hasn’t been sent out on time. Between the total incompetence, I’m probably going to run out of my thyroid meds!
